2003, Temporary installation in Olin Hall Galleries, Roanoke College, Roanoke, Virginia, USA. The work consisted of 700 cardboard boxes and three partially generative programmed screenings.
Corrugated Cardboard Company from Roanoke sponsored 700 cardboard boxes for my work. A group of Roanoke College students helped me make holes in the boxes according my plan. The footage of the programmed screenings came from home photo albums from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. The light from the screenings flashed from the installation space to other spaces through the holes in the cardboard boxes. The curator of the exhibition was Beatrix Reinhardt.
