The subjects of the abstract paintings in the One Two Triangle – Roots in Geometries series are compositions I have constructed from geometric shapes and their combinations. The function of painting and the use of color in these works is to modify emphasis, connections and differences, to bring out the inner drama of the painting.
An area painted in a different color or in a different way is different from another area of the same shape. I observe the world of geometric ideas with the same amazement as I would as a landscape painter look at a landscape.
