System Alert Drawings and Paintings

System Alert is a series of artworks that includes drawings and watercolor paintings. The drawings are made with pencil, oil pastel or crayon. The tone of the works in the series is expressive, naive and abstract. In several works of the series, there is a figure-like shape consisting of parts resembling wall structures.

The first works of the system alert series have been done in early 2024. The drawings and paintings in the series are relatively small in size. Currently there are eleven works in the series and they can be seen on the System Alert – page.

The System Alert series was preceded by the artwork series Our House, whose works are partly of the same type as the System Alert series. Both sets of works have drawings made with oil pastels. The name of the series – System alert – and the atmosphere of the works describe human confusion in the face of the strangeness of the today’s world.
